What a wonderful tonic for a weary soul.

What a wonderful way to show friendship. I am truly taken back- swept of my feet – by the joy- that Andy at- The Spiritual Journey of a Somerset Pagan – has given me , by awarding my humble little mutterings of a blog spot- with this wonderful award. I thank you most sincerely- I am always an avid reader of Andy’s blog- as he really shows indepth the meaning and emotions of his spiritual journey- I often feel I am on the journey with him. I will have to think long & hard now to pass on this lovely award to my fellow bloggers. Happy Blogging. Brightest Blessings.

The Rules for those receiving an award are:-

1. The winner can put the logo on their blog
2. Link the person you received the award from
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs
4. Put links of those blogs on yours
5. Leave a message on the blogs nominated

And so the difficult bit- but actually not as difficult as I thought- because it does say- at least 7- not maximum 7.

So firstly to my fellow friends and bloggers- who have already been nominated-in no particular order- Andy- The Somerset Pagan, -The unveiling of a Pagan Spirit, -Leanne-Somerset Seasons, -The Green Witch and –The Shepton Witch. I spend alot of time reading thru their blogs & am always inspired by all these lovely people- you’ll find their links in my blogroll.

And my new 7 nominee’s all of whom I have come to know thru fellow bloggers and who share similar lives and interests- again in no paticular order-

Last Saturday, at the August Full Moon- I performed a healing ritual. Many friends and their family members and also closer to home- we have been dealing with illness- sickness- lack of energy and in general negativity. I myself- have not been- Myself- at all. Maybe the lack of sun this summer- Maybe not having my children around for 4 weeks- Maybe the big changes in the work place- The rotten tooth- The summer cold?  So I gathered my thoughts- cast my circle- held a healing ritual-and meditated a good long while in circle. With visions of a swirling green mist all around me-then seeing it flowing over rolling green hills in the twilight and a Barn Owl swooping and Hooting in the rising fullmoonlight. I just held everyone I had in mind for healing and support and then envisioned the healing mist flowing out towards them. Afterwards I slept very well that night. A week on I am fully recovered from my ailments- even managed a couple of Reiki sessions on friends and am beginning to get back into the swing of things. So my blogging may not be so sporadic and my friends & family not so neglected. Brightest Blessings.

Well now, I seem not to be able to get back to my blog a day- After returning from the Hols in June- Changes at work- Decorating and springcleaning- The childrens return end July and their respective birthday celebrations- Then the nasty tooth and now a nasty head cold- Where has all the time & my energy gone!

I do believe the lack of summer sunshine has not helped at all- some of our poor plants are running out of summer and will not flower- My tomatoes will be forever green- and at this rate we will be turning the heating back on months before we usually do.

It is hard to stay or be positive all the time, but I am working on it- step by step. So I have uploaded a few garden shots and a couple of family ones too- To help remind me what life is all about.

A Lovely Leitrim Sunset

Views of the Garden and where the Fairies Gather

A riot of colour and a beautifull Rainbow

My reason for living

Sharing the joy- makes it even more joyfull.

Brightest Blessings.

It’s not fair.

So the horrible tooth came out with a struggle Thursday morning. The dentist had to drill it into 2 pieces as it really did not want to come out!!! So once the injections wore off- the pain really hit me- and now its late Saturday PM and its still throbbing. I know it will subside- but it has really put me out of sorts. So I have 2 days off now & hopefully will be more recovered and able to blog and put up the holiday snaps now the Kids have returned. Brightest Blessings.
