Just received an e’mail from a dear friend- alerting me to this event on 21st- 22nd June depending on where you are in the world. It is a giant world wide Meditation- which I will be joining. If I can get the link up I will- I’m just not sure how- so here goes.http://www.thegatheringofone.com

Seems to be working ok but my writing has gone all blue? No idea why?. I will be getting intouch with the lady organising the group gathering in plymouth as I will actually be in Devon on my Hols when this takes place. Brightest Blessings.

Whenever I can I have my rituals outside. I have a circle marked out in our back garden. If the weather is bad tho I go indoors. I am lucky to have my own room just for my rituals and all my Pagan paraphernalia- it is the Guest Bedroom- so is not always required other than by me! This is where I meditate also- it is a very calm tranquil room decorated in crisp white and Lilac tones. We had a glorious morning & early afternoon- so I thought I would meditate on the verandah on my Soft swinging seat. With nature all around and the distant rumble of thunder it was very atmospheric. It will remain to be seen wether I hold tomorrows New Moon ritual inside or out- but I am quite looking forward to it- as I have so much to be thankful for & to acheive. Brightest Blessings.

So far so good

So my me time is now a priority- second day in- so far so good. I will have a ritual at the new moon to help enhance and keep up my meditations. Some quiet reflection & thanks to the Goddess for her love & support. Brightest Blessings.

Missing Me Time!

The last few days have been somewhat hectic- My daughter has exam’s and I have been doing mini test’s with her. My partner has had a bad time with his back and has needed a lot of support in more ways than one. Quite a few colleagues at work have been off with a flu like bug and my rota has been all over the place. I have had little or no time to meditate and it shows- I do not seem to have the patience or the clear calm level headedness to just prioritise and get on with even the normal usual everyday things- I seem to stress at nothing- and I know it is all down to me and my own attitude to what is going on around me. Just 3 days short of meditation- and look what I have become- I am a wreck.  I am a meditation addict who has had enforced cold turkey- and I don’t like it- so by hook or by crook I will find my me time and quick smart before I turn into a miserable manic mom. brightest Blessings.

3 mornings a week I have to be up really early for work- the other 2, I am on the late shift. So On the early’s, I do not have time to meditate & have to wait till I get home & all the cooking and family stuff are done. When I am on the late or off work- I find I can get up bright & early – go off to meditate and have a much better experience. I find myself really looking forward to those day’s- and just wish I could get into the same frame of mind on the other 3 days. The experience is addictive and the feelings stay with me so much longer. Perhaps I shall have to set the alarm half an hour earlier for those other days and go to bed earlier the night before- I do need my beauty sleep too! Brightest Blessings.

Well that’s how I try to see problems or setbacks now- It hasn’t always been like this. I used to wallow in self pity and cry or get angry and react in such a way that it would be quite scarey for an onlooker. But since I started Meditating I seem better able to cope- assess- react to the things life can throw at you.  I would never have been able to achieve this without the help of all my new friends on my Wiccan journey. For this I am truly gratefull. Brightest Blessings.

Getting in the Mood.

Sometimes it can be quite difficult to settle down to meditate- especially after a really buzzing- busy day at work- then coming home to the family- cooking dinner etc. So I take a little extra time on these occasions by preparing in one or two ways. I visualise myself bathed in pure cool moonlight and feeling protected and secure for a good few minutes while taking in long deep breaths. Or I visualize myself in a beautifull rainbow bubble floating on fluffy clouds in a blue sky over a calm bluegreen sea- Where I can hear soft lapping waves. Both really help to slow me down and I find I can meditate so much deeper. Brightest Blessings.
