Last year we visited family  in the Uk and my Mom had a variegated thistle flowering in the garden. The leaves were remarkably marbled. So we took a flower head and let it dry out & planted the seeds amonth ago. Then 2 weeks ago I planted my Pumpkins- low & behold they both popped up around the same time and both grow very quickly. So I have just transplanted both into larger pots but am keeping indoors till frosts are no longer a threat. Mom has had no sign of her thistle returning- so I will be returning one to her when we visit in June. Brightest Blessings.

Depending on where you are in the world you would be celebrating one or the other at this time of the year. For me it was Beltane- but Samhain was not far from my mind as the Pumpkin & squash seeds we recently planted have popped up already. Just hope for lots of warmth & Sunshine to have a great crop.
